RAW Arctic will test competitors’ mettle against the arctic winds as they battle a course over the barren tundra’s of Greenland.

This challenge is different, inimitable, requiring new found depths of self confidence and resolute persistence as competitor’s battle against whatever the elements decide to throw at them.

Ice and snow can hamper the challenge, rivers can swell with rainwater and the weather can suddenly change, requiring good navigation skills. Respect the mountains and take them seriously and you will have a great experience.

A RAW event is not a simple ultra; the challenge is set in harsh or demanding locations all over the world, over routes so grueling, so severe that every finisher can stand proud in the knowledge that it can be done. Whether you are enduring 50 degrees Celsius in a blazing desert, negotiating treacherous terrain in the Nordic highlands or being blasted by the freezing cold arctic winds, every stage, mile, even footstep will be a personal milestone.
